Child Support

State law states that every parent owes a duty of support to their children. Child support for the children is determined by gathering financial information from both parties and entering the numbers in to a standard calculation worksheet. Child Support is just for basic care and support such as: food, housing, and utilities. The accompanying child support worksheets spell out how other financial issues related to the children have been decided. These include child tax credits, sharing of other child related expenses, education costs and shared medical costs.
