I was born and raised in Honolulu and have lived in Washington since attending UW for my undergraduate degree. I am the proud mom of two sons and also share my home with two rescue golden retrievers. I returned to UW School of Law in 2015-16 to earn my LLLT certification and also achieved an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College in 2011. I was licensed as an LLLT in 2017.
I approach family law seeking respectful resolution for my clients rather than creating additional conflict. I completed collaborative law training as a paralegal in 2012, basic mediation training in King County in 2015, Advanced Family Law Meditation in Snohomish County in 2020, audited Basic Mediation again in Kitsap County a few months ago and I have nearly completed the practicum program to be a certified mediator with the Washington Mediation Association. I have great faith in a low conflict approach centered on facilitated mediation to help a client reach a durable resolution. Keeping the conflict low also keeps saves clients both the financial and emotional costs of litigation.
